Games and toys that hold attention – that’s what matters most when looking for a giveaway. Most promotional items get a two second glance. A puzzle or a game however can be picked up and played with repeatedly. On a trade show tables they hold people long enough for conversations to start.
This category is split between desk items and event items. Desk items include puzzles, games, cubes, dice and fidget toys that are left on a desk and picked up repeatedly during phone calls and meetings. Event items include cornhole sets, bubble wands, footbags, etc. that are taken to a picnic, tailgate or campus day and shared with others. Again, desk items generate more repeat impressions with one person than event items, while event items are able to generate more impressions with multiple people.
Print method for functional items is critical as it can interfere with the item’s functionality. A puzzle cube with all 6 sides printed would make for a great display piece but not a functional puzzle. We want to make sure that the print on one side of the item does not interfere with the item’s puzzle functionality.
Safety documentation is critical if you are handing out items to children at events such as family days, school fairs, picnics, tailgating etc. The items must be CPSIA compliant and your supplier must be able to provide you with the appropriate safety documentation.
Most items here start at 50 to 100 pieces. Event lineups are grouped under trade show giveaways, and items sized for younger children sit in the baby and kids range.
