Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: February 24, 2026

Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. Under these laws, "selling" and "sharing" personal information have broad definitions that may include transferring personal data to third parties for advertising purposes, even if no money is exchanged.

This page explains what data we may "sell" or "share" as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and how you can opt out.

What Data We "Sell" or "Share"

Qstomize does not sell your personal information in the traditional sense (i.e., we do not sell your data for monetary payment to data brokers or other companies).

However, under the broad CCPA/CPRA definition of "sharing," certain data transfers we make for advertising purposes may qualify. Specifically, we share the following data with advertising partners for the purpose of showing you personalized ads and measuring advertising effectiveness:

  • Google Ads: We transmit online identifiers (such as cookie IDs, IP addresses, and device identifiers) and website activity data (pages visited, products viewed, conversions) to Google through Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags. This enables Google to serve you relevant ads on Google Search, YouTube, and the Google Display Network.
  • Microsoft Advertising: We transmit similar online identifiers and website activity data to Microsoft through the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. This enables Microsoft to serve you relevant ads on Bing, MSN, and other Microsoft properties.

We do not share sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, or precise geolocation) with advertising partners.

How to Opt Out

You have several ways to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for advertising purposes:

1. Cookie Consent Banner

When you visit our website, our cookie consent banner allows you to reject "Marketing" cookies. Declining marketing cookies will prevent Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tracking cookies from being placed on your device, effectively opting you out of personalized advertising through our site.

You can update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer.

2. Contact Us Directly

You can submit an opt-out request by contacting us:

Please include "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line of your email. We will process your request within 15 business days.

3. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or browser extension sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request for the sale and sharing of your personal information. You can enable GPC in supported browsers and extensions such as:

  • Mozilla Firefox (built-in)
  • DuckDuckGo browser
  • Privacy Badger extension
  • Brave browser

Other California Privacy Rights

In addition to the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, California residents have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, we may retain data necessary to complete a transaction or comply with legal obligations).

Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not:

  • Deny you goods or services

  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services
  • Suggest that you will receive a different price or rate or a different level of quality of goods or services

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a request to know, delete, correct, or opt out, you can:

Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we must verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We may ask you to:

  • Confirm the email address associated with your account or previous orders
  • Provide your name and order number(s) for matching against our records
  • Respond to a verification email sent to the email address on file

We will make every effort to verify your identity using information we already have. If we cannot verify your identity, we may ask for additional documentation. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days. If we need more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you of the reason and the extension period in writing.

Authorized Agent Requests

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To do so, you must:

  • Provide a signed, written authorization designating the agent to act on your behalf, or
  • Provide proof that the agent has power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000-4465
