Etched and Printed Glass for Tasting Rooms, Bars, Weddings and Corporate Gifts. The Glassware section of the catalog is where decoration method becomes the product.
Laser etching creates a soft matte mark on the surface of the glass, a mark that can’t be removed and is therefore not affected by the glass being washed. The soft matte mark is particularly suitable for wine and spirits, above glossy ink. Printed ink is cheaper and allows for full color. For high volume event items such as event pints, printed ink is the preferred method. However, printed ink will begin to ghost at the edges after a few hundred washes.
The shape of the glass is worth some thought. A 12oz universal bowl can hold reds and whites, thus saving the venue from having to hold 3 different shapes in stock and deal with the breakage of each. A large cube will hold a large squat rocks glass with a weighted base, and will remain upright even when heavily put down by a bartender.
Shipping: we weigh up the costs to ensure you get the best price. Products are carefully packaged with individual foam sleeves in partitioned cartons to prevent breakage in transit.
Minimums are typically 50 pieces. Bar service equipment sits under kitchen and bar supplies, and insulated and everyday cups under drinkware.
